I always wanted to be a teacher. Even as a child, I enjoyed correcting tests and dictations and naturally felt the urge to explain things to others. I started learning English completely intuitively through music and TV. My grandmother had MTV and I knew song lyrics by heart before I fully understood them.

In high school I studied in a programme with extended English language teaching, and I started teaching right after my final exams. I began with adult beginners and, paradoxically, that is when I learned English the most myself. Teaching forced me to study things deeply, truly understand them, and explain them simply.

At university I studied English language teaching and completed my master's degree in professional English communication. During my career I worked at three language schools as a lecturer, methodologist and teacher trainer. I lived in Germany for five years and have taught over 10,000 hours to date.

Today I teach school leavers and adult professionals in various roles in Slovakia and abroad. I help them not only improve their English but also gain greater confidence in communication. For almost 20 years I have been working with people who want to progress in language, work and life, but often feel overwhelmed and stuck.

I came to coaching in 2025 and it naturally builds on what I have been doing for years. I lead deep conversations, ask questions and help people clarify their direction.

For a long time I myself tried different paths and could not fully decide whether what I was doing was truly aligned with my values. Looking back, I realise that in those key moments a coach would have helped me most — I just did not know yet that such a profession existed.

Today I am the coach. And my mission is to help people find clarity, make courageous decisions and fully blossom.

I continuously develop my education and approach through further professional study, supervision and personal growth – because I believe a good teacher and coach never stops learning.
