I take your personal data seriously. Below you will find clearly explained information about what data I process, for what purpose, and what your rights are under Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data (GDPR) and Act No. 18/2018 Coll. on the protection of personal data.

2. What Data I Process
This website does not collect any personal data directly through any forms. Data processing occurs only in the following three cases:
a) Booking a Consultation via Calendly
When you book an appointment through the booking form, Calendly processes your name, email address, and your answer to the question of whether you are interested in coaching or English teaching. I receive this data in my email inbox and my Calendly calendar.
b) Direct Email Communication
If you send me an email at niki@niki-rajter.sk, your email address and the content of your message remain stored in my email inbox (Gmail).
c) Technical Server-Generated Data
The server where the website is hosted (Heroku) automatically stores technical logs to ensure the website's functionality and security. These logs may contain your IP address, browser information, visit time, and visited URL. This data is not linked to your identity and is automatically deleted after a short period.
3. For What Purpose I Process Your Data
I process your data exclusively for the following purposes:
- organizing and carrying out agreed consultations, lessons, or coaching sessions,
- communicating with you regarding the services provided,
- fulfilling legal obligations (especially accounting and tax).
I do not use your data for marketing, I do not send you a newsletter, and I do not share it with anyone for advertising purposes.
4. Legal Basis for Processing
I process your data on the following legal bases (according to Article 6 of GDPR):
- Performance of a contract — if you have booked a consultation or you are my client.
- Legitimate interest — for email communication, so that I can respond to you.
- Legal obligation — for data that I must retain for accounting and tax purposes.
5. How Long I Retain Data
- Client contact details — for the duration of our cooperation and subsequently for 3 years after its termination.
- Accounting documents and data related to invoicing — 10 years (legal obligation).
- Email correspondence — as needed, typically up to 3 years from the last interaction.
- Server logs — short-term, typically up to 30 days.
6. To Whom I Disclose Your Data
I do not share your data with anyone for marketing purposes. However, the following third parties process it as my data processors:
- Calendly (Calendly LLC, USA) — for the booking system. Calendly is GDPR-compliant and has entered into EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
- Google (Google LLC, USA) — through the Gmail service for email communication. Google is GDPR-compliant.
- Heroku (Salesforce, Inc., USA) — for website hosting. Heroku is GDPR-compliant.
Data may also be disclosed to public authorities if required by law.
7. Data Transfers Outside the EU
Some of the data processors listed above (Calendly, Google, Heroku) have servers in the USA. Data transfers are secured through EU Standard Contractual Clauses or other appropriate safeguards under GDPR.
8. Your Rights
Regarding the processing of your personal data, you have the following rights:
- Right of access — you can request information about what data I process about you.
- Right to rectification — if your data is inaccurate, you can request its correction.
- Right to erasure ("right to be forgotten") — you can request that I delete your data if I have no other legal basis to retain it.
- Right to restrict processing — you can request that I temporarily restrict the processing of your data.
- Right to data portability — you can request that I provide your data in a structured format.
- Right to object — you can object to processing based on legitimate interest.
- Right to lodge a complaint — if you believe I am processing your data contrary to the law, you can file a complaint with the Office for Personal Data Protection of the Slovak Republic (www.dataprotection.gov.sk).
